Yeladim – Fair Chance for Children is a strategic partner in Israel advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) – a global framework of 17 goals designed to build a more just, equitable, and sustainable world by 2030.
For nearly four decades, we have developed proven national models in quality education, economic mobility, and breaking cycles of intergenerational poverty – in partnership with government ministries, philanthropy, and the business sector.
We actively advance SDG 1, 4, 8, and 10, translating global priorities into measurable social change in Israel.

Yeladim is a recognized national leader in supporting children and young adults growing up without family support. Working alongside the Ministries of Welfare, Justice, and Social Affairs – as well as academic institutions and philanthropic partners – we design and implement scalable models in:

Quality education is not only academic – it is emotional, social, and relational.
Through our national Education Program, operating in all residential care facilities in Israel, we equip staff and youth with structured Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) tools.
Our digital platform, includes over 1,000 interactive educational units aligned with SEL principles.
Research (OECD 2023; RAND 2024) shows that SEL improves academic outcomes, reduces behavioral issues, and strengthens resilience. We bring this evidence-based approach into residential care nationwide.
